Procurement - Lead Strategic Sourcing

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Lead Strategic Sourcing who is responsible for managing the overall vendor performance per contractual service level agreements (SLA) and ensures vendor conformity to enterprise standards, operational processes, and management guidelines to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function. Acts as single point of accountability for internal and external business partners.

• Strategic Sourcing Lead is responsible for supporting End to End IT categories like IT Software , IT Professional services , Infrastructure Managed Services contracts for negotiating contracts, managing, and overseeing the performance metrics with suppliers in the United States. This role will require close coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Primary duties may include but are not limited to: Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers for sub-categories.
• Focuses on cost savings. Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams for sub-categories and aggressively tracks and improves non-compliance preferred supplier(s).
• Participates in fact-based negotiations and executes contracts utilizing approved terms and conditions.
• Implements sourcing recommendations and develops and manages e-procurement catalog content. Aggressively monitors, tracks and reports supplier compliance and performance benefits.
• Work with Legal in finalizing the MSA/SOW in a timely manner.
• Be a trusted advisor to Business and drive the change management effectively with good business results.
• Ready to work for 2.00 PM Shift

• Any Degree with 8+ years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.

• Hands on experience in Strategic Sourcing
• Healthcare Industry IT experience is preferred.
• Experience in preparing the category strategies
• Hands on experience with spend analytics.
• Hands on experience in Global Strategic sourcing

• SME in Stratgic Sourcing. Strategic thinking towards achieving the overall organization goals. Should have good understanding of Contracting and analytics skills.
• Good knowledge around contracting and legal terms
• Should be able to work along with Legal in contract redlines.
