Procurement Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy Procurement Executive with hands-on experience in sourcing materials and products for interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of site operations and the material flow required for end-to-end execution of interior projects—be it corporate offices, retail stores, residential spaces, bungalows, or farmhouses.

You should have strong industry connections, in-depth product knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to handle procurement with efficiency, transparency, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials required for interior projects such as:
• Cement sheets, plywood, laminates, gypsum, hardware
• Cables, wires, CAT 6 cables, electricals
• Paints, polishes, false ceilings, flooring materials
• Items used in civil work, plumbing, carpentry, and finishes
• IT-related products for hardware setups and automation systems
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and designers to understand material requirements based on project timelines.
• Plan and prioritize procurement based on site execution flow—from start to finish.
• Identify and evaluate vendors and suppliers; maintain and expand a strong vendor network.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best prices, quality, and terms.
• Prepare and maintain cost comparison sheets, rate analysis, and vendor quotes for approval.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites, preventing any delay in execution.
• Verify product quality and specification before finalizing procurement.
• Monitor stock levels, order schedules, and coordinate logistics.
• Maintain detailed procurement records and ensure procurement aligns with company policies and budgets.
• Uphold a high standard of honesty, ethics, and professionalism in all dealings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior project materials and sequence of material requirements across project phases.
• Good understanding of both residential and commercial fit-outs.
• Exposure to IT-related and automation products used in office and retail projects.
• Good vendor network and proven negotiation skills.
• Proficient in preparing cost sheets, comparison charts, and procurement reports.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to honesty and transparency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of logistics and basic inventory management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
