Process Engineer

To lead the transfer of new and improved processes from laboratory to pilot and commercial

manufacturing. This hands-on role ensures seamless scale-up, integration with plant systems and consistent quality and safety compliance for oleoresin, botanical extracts and specialty chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
• Lead pilot plant trials, develop scale-up protocols, and establish process control
• Prepare and maintain Technology Transfer Packages including process flow diagrams,
• material balances, critical process parameters and Scale up reports.
• Work closely with, Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance and EHS teams
• to ensure process feasibility and alignment with operational capabilities.
• Conduct fit-gap assessments, risk analyses, and troubleshooting during

1. scale-up.

• Monitor and document pilot batches; analyse data to refine processes.
• Facilitate process validation and ensure readiness for commercial launch.
• Lead cross-functional review meetings and project updates.
• Maintain documentation as per regulatory and internal SOP requirements.
• Provide on-floor support during initial commercial batch manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technology transfer and pilot scale-up,
• in the Oleoresin, Pharma or specialty chemical industry.
• Hands-on experience with distillation, extraction, solvent recovery, filtration, and
• drying systems.
• Experience in Process design and re-engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environmental Health and
• Safety (EHS) practices in chemical process industries.
