Sustainable Sourcing

You are a strategic and experienced professional responsible for leading sustainable sourcing initiatives and aligning procurement activities with global sustainability goals and organizational values. Your role involves developing and executing sustainable procurement strategies across core businesses and international operations, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration and integrating sustainability into every stage of the sourcing lifecycle. Your key responsibilities include shaping and executing procurement strategies with a sustainability-first mindset, leading sustainability initiatives within the procurement function, and acting as a subject matter expert on sustainable sourcing. You will also lead ESG-focused sourcing strategies, manage risk assessment, map raw material supply chains, and develop supplier assessment frameworks. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of farm-level sustainability certifications, manage CSR initiatives, and develop sustainability KPIs and reporting mechanisms. To excel in this role, you should have 10+ years of experience in procurement, sustainable sourcing, or sustainability roles with exposure to agriculture-based industries and backward integration models. You should possess strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, experience in ESG risk management, and proficiency in data analytics, life cycle assessments, and sustainability performance tracking. Additionally, familiarity with certification programs in agriculture and ethical sourcing, as well as a strong understanding of sourcing tools and sustainability reporting software, are desired skills for this position.,
