The Sustainable Sourcing professional will be responsible for developing and executing sustainable procurement strategies across our core businesses and international operations. This role demands cross-functional collaboration, deep domain expertise, and a passion for integrating sustainability into every stage of the sourcing lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Sustainability IntegrationSupport business leadership in shaping and executing procurement strategies with a sustainability-first mindset.Lead sustainability initiatives within the procurement function, aligning sourcing practices with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals.Act as a subject matter expert on sustainable sourcing and guide internal teams and stakeholders accordingly.ESG & Risk ManagementLead ESG-focused sourcing strategies including risk assessment, mapping of raw material supply chains, and development of supplier assessment frameworks.Ensure supplier evaluations incorporate metrics like carbon footprint, life cycle assessments, fair labor practices, and governance standards.Integrate sustainable agricultural practices including biodiversity, soil health, and water management into sourcing models.Certifications & ComplianceManage and implement farm-level sustainability certifications (e.g., FSA, UEBT), ensuring ongoing compliance through regular audits and assessments.Liaise with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry associations to maintain credibility and compliance.CSR Project ExecutionOversee execution and impact measurement of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives aligned with business strategy.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including customers, to plan and implement socially responsible projects.Monitor project progress using performance indicators, ensuring timely reporting and alignment with CSR goals.Monitoring & ReportingDevelop and manage sustainability KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.Leverage data analytics and digital tools to evaluate performance, improve traceability, and optimize sustainable sourcing decisions.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Background10+ years of experience in procurement, sustainable sourcing, or sustainability roles with exposure to agriculture-based industries and backward integration models.Proven experience in leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives and stakeholder engagement.Domain ExpertiseStrong knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD) and circular economy principles.Experience in ESG risk management, supplier development, and value-chain sustainability.Familiarity with certification programs in agriculture and ethical sourcing.Technical SkillsProficient in data analytics, life cycle assessments, carbon footprint analysis, and sustainability performance tracking.Strong understanding of sourcing tools, supplier assessment platforms, and sustainability reporting software.Desired Skills & Attrib

To lead the transfer of new and improved processes from laboratory to pilot and commercial manufacturing. This hands-on role ensures seamless scale-up, integration with plant systems and consistent quality and safety compliance for oleoresin, botanical extracts and specialty chemical products. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage end-to-end technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing. Lead pilot plant trials, develop scale-up protocols, and establish process control Prepare and maintain Technology Transfer Packages including process flow diagrams, material balances, critical process parameters and Scale up reports. Work closely with, Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance and EHS teams to ensure process feasibility and alignment with operational capabilities. Conduct fit-gap assessments, risk analyses, and troubleshooting during scale-up. Monitor and document pilot batches; analyse data to refine processes. Facilitate process validation and ensure readiness for commercial launch. Lead cross-functional review meetings and project updates. Maintain documentation as per regulatory and internal SOP requirements. Provide on-floor support during initial commercial batch manufacturing. Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technology transfer and pilot scale-up, in the Oleoresin, Pharma or specialty chemical industry. Hands-on experience with distillation, extraction, solvent recovery, filtration, and drying systems. Experience in Process design and re-engineering projects. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices in chemical process industries. Skills & Competencies: Strong technical understanding of process engineering and chemical operations. Excellent project management and coordination skills. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Effective communication and documentation abilities. Proficient in MS Office, process simulation software and process documentation.
