SAP Financial Consultant

As an SAP Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the SAP S4 HANA system in a manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day support for SAP users, troubleshooting functional issues, and performing configuration in modules such as MM, SD, PP, PS, and PM. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP modules, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution. - Perform hands-on configuration and minor enhancements in SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, PM, and PS. - Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and propose solutions. - Document functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, or reports. - Participate in system testing, change management, and deployment of SAP patches or upgrades. - Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize SAP system functionality aligned with business goals. - Coordinate with external consultants or SAP Basis teams for system issues or enhancements beyond internal scope. - Conduct user training and develop training materials as necessary. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field. - 3 years of SAP experience, with at least 2 years in hands-on configuration. - Strong functional knowledge in at least one SAP module (MM, SD, PP, PM, or PS). - Understanding of manufacturing business processes and SAP integration across modules. - Experience translating business needs into SAP solutions and working closely with end users. - Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is advantageous. - Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and modern UI features. - Experience with custom reports, enhancements (user exits, BADIs), or workflow triggers. - Knowledge of transport management and change request handling. - Previous experience in discrete or process manufacturing industry.
