SAP FI SME Consultant

Responsibilities

• Configures global settings, enterprise structure, general ledger (G/L), accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and asset accounting.

• Manages SAP's core financial accounting functions, including bank accounting, reporting, and fixed asset management.

• Deep functional and technical expertise in modules like G/L, A/P, A/R, and Asset Accounting.

• Understanding how SAP FI integrates with other SAP modules (like CO, MM, SD, PP, PS) and with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Should have integration experience.

• FI SME Participates in developing the key functional requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications.

• Shadow the functionals teams and be accountable for their work. Conducts the business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology with business initiatives.

• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation times, and form of desired results.

• Prepare and document functional, system and program specifications using Customer methodology and tools.
