Job Description

Overview

You will be leading a team of 30+ engineers to deliver a Traffic Management Platform with the high availability, large scale and excellent usability that Intuit needs. You will be working on cutting edge technologies such as Service Mesh, Agentic Communication Protocols and AI Gateway.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to innovate and deliver a secure, scalable, highly available, cost efficient

and user friendly Traffic Management Platform.

Ensure Engineering and Operational Excellence of the Traffic Management Platform.
Work with Product Management in identifying customer requirements and prioritizing

based on business outcome.

Proactively participate in incident responses and root cause analysis, and identify

opportunities for improving the platform reliability and preventing future incidents.

Design review, code review and coaching of junior team members.
Hands-on participation in designing, implementing, launching and maintaining

end-to-end solutions.

Help to drive adoption of platform solutions among customers.

Qualifications

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience developing/designing cloud, web or backend software.
Deep understanding of networking concepts, including protocols such as TCP, TLS,

HTTP 1, HTTP 2, Websocket, etc.

Extensive experience on Service Mesh technologies such as Istio and Envoy.

Experience in development of Envoy filters a plus!

Experience working with Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS concepts such as Route53, IAM, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway,

databases such as ElastiCache and DynamoDB.

Programming experience with C++ or GO.
Experience in leading and coaching junior team members.
Ability to learn fast and move fast.
