Position Overview:

The Primary English Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate English language lessons that foster reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in primary school students. The facilitator will implement the school’s curriculum, adopt creative teaching methodologies, and create a positive learning environment that inspires a love for the English language.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, role-play, reading programs, and project-based learning.
• Integrate grammar, vocabulary, and phonics into daily activities.

• Student Engagement & Learning Support

• Encourage participation through interactive and hands-on learning activities.
• Identify and address different learning needs and styles of students.
• Provide remedial support for students who need additional help in language skills.

Assessment & Reporting

• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.

• Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline and foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement school policies on attendance, behavior, and learning conduct.

Collaboration & Professional Development

• Work closely with other teachers, coordinators, and support staff for integrated learning experiences.
• Participate in school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to English language learning.
• Attend workshops, training, and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English / Education or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Proven experience teaching English at the primary level.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Creative and innovative approach to teaching.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to use educational technology tools effectively.
