Job Summary

Pricing Analyst with 3–5 years

What You’ll Do

• Own price and margin analysis across products, services, routes, and regions using SQL and BI dashboards.

• Build, maintain, and iterate pricing models using dbt

  (incremental models, tests, documentation)

  and surface metrics via BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).

• Monitor competitor pricing, elasticity signals, and promotion performance; recommend price changes and discount guardrails.

• Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align pricing with business goals and capacity realities.

• Support bids and quotations with fast, data-backed scenarios and sensitivity analysis.

• Define and track pricing KPIs

  (realized price, take rate, gross margin, win rate, leakage) with automated queries and scheduled reports.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, and documentation for pricing datasets and metrics.

• Run pricing experiments and share concise, decision-ready insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years in pricing, financial analysis, business analytics, or related fields.

• Experience with

  Snowflake and dbt is preferred.

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in analytical databases.

• Practical exposure to dbt (models, tests, documentation) preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Solid understanding of pricing concepts: elasticity, willingness to pay, discount governance, contribution margin, and unit economics.

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in ecommerce, logistics, or retail pricing is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong business acumen, structured thinking, and comfort with ambiguity.

• Proactive mindset

  with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong academic background from Tier-1 institutes

  (e.g., IIM, ISB, IIT, or top global B-schools) or experience with reputed firms (Big 4, consulting, leading tech/product companies, or well-known startups).

• Exposure to modern data pipelines, orchestration tools, and version control systems.

• Understanding of statistical or predictive modeling for pricing optimization.
