Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pre-Sales Lead – ELV Tendering & Costing to manage and lead the tendering and estimation activities for ELV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ELV design and estimation, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical and commercial proposals on time.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy

Lead the pre-sales and tendering team for all ELV (Extra Low Voltage) system bids and proposals.

Develop bid strategies and ensure alignment with the company’s sales and technical objectives.

Review and validate tender documents (RFPs, BOQs, drawings, specifications) and ensure understanding of client requirements.

Coordinate with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure integrated proposal development.

Tendering & Estimation

Manage and supervise the preparation of detailed technical submittals and commercial proposals for:

CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address

Structured Cabling, BMS, IPTV, SMATV, Intercom, ANPR, etc.

Perform or oversee quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation.

Evaluate technical and commercial risks in tenders and mitigate them proactively.

Approve cost estimates, supplier quotes, and project budgets before submission.

Vendor & Client Management

Liaise with OEMs, distributors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure compliance with tender specs.

Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and client presentations.

Provide value engineering suggestions to enhance proposal competitiveness.

Team Management & Process Improvement

Mentor and guide junior pre-sales and estimation engineers.

Develop and maintain a knowledge base of historical costs, vendor pricing, and technical solutions.

Implement standardized processes, tools, and templates for efficient tendering operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related engineering field.

Minimum 6–10 years of experience in ELV pre-sales, tendering, and costing.

Proven leadership experience in managing pre-sales/estimation teams.

Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and integration approaches.

Excellent project planning, documentation, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and costing tools.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
