Pre-Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment for children aged 3–6 years.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE framework and school’s vision.
• Foster children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through play-based and activity-based learning.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in students.
• Maintain continuous communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Observe, assess, and document student growth and learning outcomes.
• Ensure classroom management, discipline, and safety procedures are maintained at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
• Instill strong values, social skills, and respect for diversity among young learners.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education / Montessori / NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in teaching pre-primary grades (preferably in IGCSE / international curriculum).
• Excellent command of English (spoken & written).
• Strong classroom management and child engagement skills.
• Passionate, creative, patient, and empathetic in working with young children.
• Proficiency in using technology as a teaching aid.
