Practice Leader – Cloud Solutions, IoT & Digital Platforms

Primary Responsibilities: -

Practice Growth- Help Drive Practice revenue and growth focused specifically on Cloud Migration, Transformation & Edge-to-Cloud projects.

Solution Innovation Develop and scale 2-3 Cloud-Agnostic IIoT/Edge Reference Architectures (e.g., for Asset Monitoring or Predictive Quality)

Talent Maturity Certify of the architect team in advanced Cloud IoT Services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Central, GCP Cloud IoT).

Cloud Transformation Strategy: Define and lead the enterprise-wide shift from legacy on-premise industrial systems to secure, Cloud-Native Industrial Platforms (IIoT), including the creation of compelling business cases for modernization.

Edge-to-Cloud Architecture: Own the end-to-end data pipeline, specifically designing solutions that manage, analyze, and secure data flow from hundreds of thousands of field assets and Edge devices (gateways, controllers) to the central Cloud data lake/mesh.

Hyperscale Cloud Commercialization: Drive sales and delivery governance for large deals leveraging major Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), specializing in their IoT and Data Services for industrial clients.

OT/IT Convergence Leadership: Bridge the gap between Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) teams, ensuring seamless integration and cybersecurity across the entire Cloud-Edge continuum.

Primary Skills:

Cloud/Platform: Cloud Native Development (K8s, Serverless), Multi-Cloud Strategies, Advanced Cloud Security (Zero Trust, Cloud Identity), and building Industrial Data Meshes in the Cloud.

IIoT / Edge: Edge Computing (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge), Digital Twin deployment at scale, Sensor/Actuator connectivity, and OT Protocol Integration (OPC UA, MQTT).

Domain Data: Deep experience handling high-velocity, high-volume Time-Series Data and deploying AI/ML models for inferencing directly on Edge devices.

Leadership: Practice P&L, Consultative Cloud Sales, Global Delivery Governance, and Architectural Review Board Leadership

Secondary Skills:

SRE Governance: Define and enforce strict SLOs/SLIs for platform reliability, latency, and data integrity across the Edge-to-Cloud continuum.

IaC & Automation: Mandatory expertise leading Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform/CloudFormation) for automated, repeatable deployment of Hybrid Cloud and Edge environments.

FinOps & Optimization: Proven track record of managing and optimizing Cloud Cost (FinOps), using automated scaling and resource rightsizing for high-volume data platforms.

Advanced Observability: Architect comprehensive APM and Observability solutions (Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog) to ensure proactive platform health monitoring for industrial assets.

DevSecOps Leadership: Champion "Shift-Left" security by embedding automated security tooling and Container Security governance directly into CI/CD pipelines.

Hybrid CI/CD: Design and manage complex pipelines that securely deploy code, configurations, and models across the Hyperscale Cloud, Edge devices, and On-Premise environments.

Domain Skills- Automotive/Industrial: Experience architecting Cloud-based MES integration, Connected Vehicle/Telematics data platforms, and Quality/Predictive Maintenance solutions running on Edge/Plant floor devices.

Oil & Gas: Demonstrated success in migrating legacy SCADA/DCS/Historian data to a Cloud Data Platform for advanced APM and Remote Operations Centers (ROC) using Edge gateways.
