Our Civil & Structural Practice supports projects in solar PV, wind, energy storage, grid-connected substations, and green hydrogen infrastructure.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Practice Lead – Civil & Structural Engineering to head this critical practice. This senior leadership role requires a balance of technical expertise, project delivery oversight, and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will not only drive engineering excellence but also contribute to project development, client engagement, and business growth in India and international markets.

Reports To: Director – Operations

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Delivery Leadership

• Lead and oversee civil, structural, geotechnical, and hydrology design for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (ASCE, AISC, Eurocodes, IS codes, etc.) and client/lender requirements.
• Guide construction monitoring, foundation engineering, and value engineering initiatives.

Project Development & Commercial Engagement

• Support bid development, feasibility studies, and due diligence for renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.
• Provide input on project costing, constructability, and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with business development teams to align proposals with technical and financial requirements.

Team & Practice Management

• Manage a multi-disciplinary team of civil engineers, structural engineers, hydrology and geotechnical experts, and drafting specialists.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor young engineers and drive capability building within the practice.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, developers, and permitting authorities on civil & structural matters.
• Represent the company in industry forums, technical committees, and client negotiations.
• Provide thought leadership on innovations in floating solar, hybrid RE, and green hydrogen infrastructure.

Candidate Profile

• Education: BE/BTech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); MTech in Structural/Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 15–20 years in civil/structural engineering and project delivery, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, BESS, substations, green hydrogen).
• Strong understanding of commercial and development aspects (project financing, contracts, EPC interface).
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,077.31 - ₹60,817.80 per month
