PPC Manager

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and adjust plans to meet deadlines and reduce bottlenecks.

2. Inventory & Material Control

• Track raw material consumption and maintain optimum inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and purchase team for timely material procurement.
• Avoid overstocking or understocking of raw materials and finished goods.

3. Capacity & Resource Management

• Plan manpower, machine, and equipment usage to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Identify and resolve capacity constraints.
• Plan maintenance schedules in coordination with the engineering team.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and marketing teams for smooth operations.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Communicate daily production targets and track achievement.

5. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material usage.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance, efficiency, and productivity.
• Use ERP systems or Excel to track production plans and updates.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and production best practices.
• Support automation and digitization efforts in the PPC process.
