Job Description

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
Coordinate with procurement, stores, and production teams to ensure material availability.
Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and adjust plans to meet deadlines and reduce bottlenecks.

2. Inventory & Material Control

Track raw material consumption and maintain optimum inventory levels.
Coordinate with the warehouse and purchase team for timely material procurement.
Avoid overstocking or understocking of raw materials and finished goods.

3. Capacity & Resource Management

Plan manpower, machine, and equipment usage to ensure maximum efficiency.
Identify and resolve capacity constraints.
Plan maintenance schedules in coordination with the engineering team.

4. Coordination & Communication

Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and marketing teams for smooth operations.
Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, deviations, and corrective actions.
Communicate daily production targets and track achievement.

5. Data Management & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material usage.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance, efficiency, and productivity.
Use ERP systems or Excel to track production plans and updates.

6. Process Improvement

Identify areas for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and production best practices.
Support automation and digitization efforts in the PPC process.
