Power BI Developer

📌 Role Overview

Senior Power BI / Microsoft BI Developer

You will play a key role in end-to-end BI solution delivery—from requirements gathering and data modeling to performance tuning, security, and production support.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain

  large-scale, high-volume BI solutions

  , including data models, reports, dashboards, and semantic layers using

  Power BI, Azure Synapse, and Dataverse

• Translate business requirements into

  efficient data models and analytics solutions

  aligned with technical standards and best practices
• Build

  advanced DAX measures

  , calculated columns, and optimized Power BI datasets for complex analytical and financial use cases
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and BI architects to ensure accurate and timely delivery
• Perform

  performance tuning and optimization

  across Power BI reports, datasets, DAX queries, and SQL queries
• Implement and manage

  Power BI security models

  , including Row-Level Security (RLS), restricted sharing, export, and publishing controls
• Participate in

  Proofs of Concept (PoCs)

  and prototype development for new BI tools, features, and technologies
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and documentation across BI assets
• Support production BI environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology

  , or a related field

• 5+ years of experience

  in Business Intelligence analysis and development
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Power BI development

  , including advanced

  DAX

  and data modeling
• Experience working with

  cloud data platforms

  , such as

  Azure Synapse Analytics, Dataverse

  , and/or

  AWS

• Solid understanding of

  data warehousing concepts

  , dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), and the

  BI Development Lifecycle

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in

  T-SQL

• Experience with

  Financial Reporting and Financial Concepts

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a

  global, cross-functional environment

• Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience with enterprise-scale BI implementations
• Exposure to data governance, data quality frameworks, or BI automation
• Prior experience supporting executive-level dashboards and KPIs
