Job Description

Detailed JD-

Develop, design, and implement interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements and data insights.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
Build data models, write DAX queries, and create calculated measures and columns to support advanced data analysis.
Utilize Power Query to clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud data storage.
Document report requirements, data sources, data transformation processes, and visualizations for ongoing maintenance and future development.
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices, incorporating new functionalities into existing reports and workflows as needed.
Contribute to the optimization of Power BI governance practices, ensuring consistency and version control across different reporting environments.
Participate in report lifecycle management, from initial design and development to testing, deployment, and updates.
Work with stakeholders to implement feedback and enhance the functionality and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Mandatory Skills-

Power BI Desktop & Service (report development, publishing, workspace management)
Advanced DAX (complex calculations and measures)
Power Query (M language) (data transformation and cleansing)
Data Modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, relationships)
Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access control
Integration with multiple data sources (SQL, Azure Data Lake, Excel, APIs)
Performance Optimization (query folding, refresh schedules, rendering efficiency)
ETL Collaboration (working with data engineering teams and pipelines)
Governance & Lifecycle Management (version control, audit trails)
Migration of legacy reports to Power BI
