Overview:

Looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer with deep expertise in Oracle database development and a strong focus on performance, scalability, and optimization. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and tune complex database programs and queries to support high-performance enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Write optimized and efficient SQL queries to handle large volumes of data.
Perform performance tuning and query optimization using execution plans and database profiling tools.
Collaborate with application developers to design effective database structures and support application logic.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and stored procedures.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across environments.
Support code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Work closely with DBAs to implement schema changes, indexes, and partitioning strategies.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical database solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement in database design, coding standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming (procedures, packages, triggers, cursors, dynamic SQL).
Proven experience in query tuning and performance optimization.
Good understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and normalization.
Familiarity with Oracle performance tools (Explain Plan, TKPROF, AWR, SQL Trace, etc.).
Experience working with large datasets and high-volume transaction systems.
Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and batch job optimization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in working with cross-functional teams.
