Overview TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Image Annotation Interns for our Summer 2025 intern program. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2025 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. Responsibilities As an Image Annotation Intern with TRC, you will play a key role in our Distribution Engineering technology team to create comprehensive datasets for AI Computer Vision applications. Your primary responsibility will involve accurately annotating and labeling critical features on electric utility poles for the training and evaluation of machine learning algorithms, ensuring the precision and reliability of computer vision systems. Typical Duties And Responsibilities Include Learn and accurately identify equipment features on electric utility poles Annotate and label equipment features on digital photos Ensure the quality and accuracy of annotations, preventing errors that could impact the value of machine learning algorithms Guarantee consistency in annotations, following annotation rules and guidelines Update and create new annotation documentation as needed Follow quality control checks and standards Qualifications Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Technology, Artificial Intelligence or related field Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, detail orientated person Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow Desirable Qualifications Include Prior experience and/or related education of at least 1 year in AI computer vision Familiarity with computer vision technologies and terminology Experience using annotation programs like AWS Ground Truth or Roboflow Adaptable to requirement adjustments and changes EEO Statement TRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
