Role Description We are looking for a competent and proactive Site Engineer to manage plot development projects, including site preparation, roadworks, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure. The candidate will also assist in Quantity Surveying (QS) and Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and high construction standards. Key Responsibilities: Site Engineering: Supervise and execute site development works: land clearing, grading, road construction, stormwater drainage, water supply, and electrical/utility provisions. Ensure work is done as per drawings, specifications, and local authority standards. Liaise with subcontractors, surveyors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress. Monitor daily progress and maintain site records (site diary, labor, equipment, materials). Resolve site-level technical issues and ensure safety practices are followed. Quantity Surveying (QS): Prepare and verify quantities for civil infrastructure works and services. Support in BOQ preparation, tender evaluation, cost tracking, and budget adherence. Validate contractor bills and assist in progress certification. Maintain records for material reconciliation and cost control. Quality Control (QC): Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards for earthworks, road base, sub-grade, utility trenches, etc. Review material test reports (soil compaction, concrete, asphalt, etc.). Identify and record non-conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken. Maintain QC documentation and handover records. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in plot/infrastructure development. Good understanding of roadwork, utilities, drainage, and grading operations. Knowledge of surveying techniques, QS practices, and quality standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site management tools. Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred: Experience in large-scale plotted development or township infrastructure. Familiarity with government/local body approvals and utility coordination. Show more Show less
