Job Description

Role Overview: As a Product Owner within the Product Lifecycle Management team at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to ensure the efficient execution of program priorities. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, business owners, and development teams, to streamline processes and support the achievement of business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Product Management, architecture, and technical/delivery leadership to refine and prioritize the backlog of features and user stories. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine the scope of features and prioritize the team backlog based on business needs and feasibility aspects. - Define user stories and acceptance criteria, and drive backlog refinement events. - Engage with Business Leaders, development team, program team, users, and partners to understand processes, needs, product vision, roadmap, deliver solutions, enhancements, and resolution of issues. - Supervise and track project tasks and resource requirements for different phases of implementation. - Adhere to project timelines to ensure on-time delivery. - Collaborate with businesses to develop and implement performance measures and other important business metrics. - Prepare and deliver presentations to users and management. - Ensure compliance with IT policies, standard procedures, documentation, security, etc. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT in a techno-functional role supporting various IT applications. - Understanding of project important metrics, SLAs, and ability to perform preparation and analysis of important metrics. - Required experience in Manufacturing/Supply chain/Product Lifecycle/Inventory domain. - Experience with leading projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. - Experience with Azure DevOps is a must. - Ability to learn and understand additional areas of the business and new software and technologies. - Ability to plan and manage short- and long-term projects. - Knowledge of PO Roles & Responsibilities within a SAFe environment. - Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. - BA/BS/BE/B-Tech degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related area. Equivalent experience in B-Tech with a technical background is also acceptable. - Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written. - Knowledge of PLM Tools Enovia/Windchill/Teamcenter. - Scale Agile SAFe for Teams certificate. - Scale Agile SAFe for Product Owner/Product Manager certificate.
