About the Role

Siemens PLC Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and commission

  PLC programs

  using

  Siemens TIA Portal

  , Step 7, and related tools.
• Design and implement

  SCADA/HMI systems

  (WinCC, Intouch, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and debug control systems at customer sites and during FAT/SAT.
• Collaborate with the project and electrical design team to finalize control logic and I/O mapping.
• Provide technical support for

  system integration, panel testing

  , and onsite commissioning.
• Document programs, logic diagrams, and user manuals in compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain and update standard

  PLC libraries and programming templates

  .

Required Skills

• Proven experience in programming and commissioning Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500).
• Strong knowledge of

  TIA Portal

  ,

  Step 7

  , and

  WinCC

  .
• Experience with

  industrial automation systems

  in process industries (F&B, Pharma, Marine, etc.).
• Understanding of field instruments, sensors, actuators, and VFDs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control logic diagrams.
• Good communication and reporting skills in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Siemens automation projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  Motion Control, Drives (SINAMICS)

  , or

  PROFINET/Profibus

  networks.
• Exposure to

  remote support tools

  , IIoT platforms, or

  Siemens Industrial Edge

• Willingness to travel for site execution across India.
