Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC/SCADA Engineer to design, develop,
implement, and maintain automation systems involving Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Human Machine
Interfaces (HMI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation
across manufacturing, process, or utility industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi,
Schneider, etc.)
Develop and configure SCADA/HMI systems
Interface PLCs with SCADA systems and ensure seamless data communication.
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and debugging of automation solutions.
Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with
clients.
Develop project documentation including functional design specifications, IO lists,
wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams for panel design and
integration.
Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems at client sites.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control
requirements.
Provide training and technical support to clients and operators.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation /
Automation Engineering
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in PLC/SCADA programming and commissioning
Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC,
etc.)
Technical Skills:
Proficient in at least one PLC brand
Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and process automation
Knowledge of networking basics and industrial communication
Ability to read electrical drawings and P& IDs
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good communication and documentation skills
Willingness to travel for on-site support
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in batch process, continuous process, or utilities automation
Exposure to IIoT, cloud SCADA, or Industry 4.0 technologies
Knowledge of safety PLCs and redundant systems
