Platinum Consultant

Job Summary

• Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Define and architect complex transportation scenarios such as multimodal transport, ocean/air/road/rail planning, and intercompany freight management.
• Drive solution design workshops with business stakeholders to define process flows, KPIs, and optimization opportunities.
• Configure and optimize key SAP TM components:
• Freight Order / Freight Booking Management
• Transportation Planning and Scheduling (Optimizer)
• Carrier Selection, Tendering, and Execution
• Freight Costing, Settlement, and Integration with FI/CO
• Charge Management and Transportation Cockpit
• Collaborate with SAP EWM, SD, MM, and GTS teams for seamless process and data integration.
• Provide strategic advisory on best practices, template design, and digital logistics transformation using SAP TM on S/4HANA.
• Lead and mentor TM consultants across multiple projects or client accounts.
• Work with stakeholders on solution governance, change management, and roadmap planning.
• Troubleshoot critical issues and support performance optimization.
• Engage in pre-sales, solution demonstrations, and proposal creation as a TM subject matter expert.
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 10–15 years of total SAP experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on SAP TM implementation experience.
• Experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations (Design to Go-live) in SAP TM 9.x and/or S/4HANA TM.
• Deep expertise in:
• Order Management and Freight Unit Building Rules
• Transportation Planning and Optimization (VSR Optimizer)
• Execution and Event Management (SAP EM)
• Freight Settlement and Charge Calculation
• Strong integration experience with EWM, SD, MM, FI/CO, and GTS.
• Excellent understanding of logistics business processes across industries such as manufacturing, retail, 3PL, or automotive.
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  

• Experience with Advanced TM (S/4HANA embedded TM) and Decentralized TM setups.
• Exposure to SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for logistics analytics.
• Understanding of Yard Logistics (YL) and Event Management (EM) integration.
• SAP Certified Application Professional – Transportation Management (preferred).
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• SAP TM certification or equivalent credentials highly desirable.
