Job Description

As the Plant Manager at MRS division, your role involves overseeing the plant operations, safety, quality assurance, plant maintenance, and team mentoring. You will play a key part in strategic oversight, process optimization, adherence to quality standards, and fostering innovation and lean practices to drive sustained business growth and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise the end-to-end manufacturing processes of shock absorbers, including raw material acquisition, machining, assembly, and quality assurance. - Manage all functions within manufacturing operations, including Production, QA, Maintenance, Materials, Stores, HR, Administration, Accounts, MIS, Security, etc. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate day-to-day plant operations to meet production goals and delivery timelines. - Oversee implementation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Monitor equipment maintenance and manufacturing reliability, engaging with engineering for upgrades or repairs. - Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet required specifications and industry standards. - Lead efforts to reduce defects, optimize product performance, and address customer complaints promptly. - Recruit, train, evaluate, and motivate a diverse team of production workers, line supervisors, and support staff. - Develop and manage plant budgets, production costs, and inventory to achieve financial targets. - Collaborate with senior leadership to execute plant expansion plans, technology upgrades, or new product introductions. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field. - Minimum 12 - 15 years of operational leadership experience in automotive/manufacturing environments. - In-depth exposure to shock absorber or allied mechanical product manufacturing industry is preferred. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills are essential. You are expected to have a deep understanding of shock absorber products, from raw material selection to end-of-line testing. Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, particularly in export-related roles, will be advantageous. Your role will involve driving a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and leading a high-performance team to achieve operational excellence.,
