Plant Manager

As a Dyestuff Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. Your role will involve supervising production, ensuring compliance with standard specifications, and correlating process outcomes with laboratory data to guarantee consistent product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations of the dyestuff manufacturing plant. - Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. - Optimize plant processes for efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness. - Ensure all products comply with standard specifications and customer requirements. - Correlate production data with laboratory testing to validate quality and consistency. - Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions. - Analyze batch data, yields, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvements. - Maintain accurate production and compliance records. - Support implementation of process automation and digital monitoring systems. - Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations. - Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and training initiatives for plant staff. - Promote a culture of safety and sustainability. - Supervise, train, and mentor production staff and supervisors. - Build strong collaboration across departments including R&D, QC, Supply Chain, and Maintenance. - Coordinate preventive maintenance and reduce downtime of machinery. - Manage inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. - Work with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing of inputs. - Contribute to plant expansion, capacity planning, and modernization initiatives. - Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. - Align plant operations with organizational growth strategies.
