Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure uninterrupted and efficient operation of the power plant in line with approved technical parameters.
• Plan and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Monitor key plant performance indicators (KPIs) such as heat rate, auxiliary power consumption, and specific fuel consumption.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports and analyze plant performance trends.

2. Project & Process Management

• Implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Lead modernization, renovation, and upgradation projects of plant equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for critical equipment overhauls and technical troubleshooting.

3. Team Leadership & Manpower Management

• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams across operation, maintenance, and support functions.
• Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and ensure continuous skill enhancement of team members.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, morale, and teamwork within the plant.

4. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, statutory norms, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure zero accident operations.
• Liaise with pollution control boards and government agencies for audits and inspections.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare annual budgets for O&M, manpower, and capital expenditures.
• Monitor expenses against budgetary targets and initiate cost optimization measures.
• Manage fuel procurement, consumption monitoring, and inventory control efficiently.

6. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with CEA, CERC, and state regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and statutory purposes.
• Present monthly MIS and performance reports to senior management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹180,000.00 per month
