Job Summary:

Metworks Systems Private Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead and manage the end-to-end operations of our sheet metal manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Punching, Fabrication, Powder Coating, Assembly, and Sheet Metal Bending. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the Sheet Metal Industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for managing plant operations, ensuring timely production, and meeting quality and delivery targets.

Supervision of all production departments including:

• CNC Laser and CNC Punching Operations
• Sheet Metal Fabrication & Bending
• Powder Coating Process
• Assembly Line Management

Ensure smooth coordination between planning, production, maintenance, and quality departments.

Optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Drive continuous improvement in production techniques and shop floor management.

Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies and practices.

Manpower planning, training, and team leadership to ensure productivity and morale.

Monitor KPIs and ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly production goals.

Reporting regularly to senior management regarding plant performance and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sheet Metal Industry, including exposure to multiple departments.
• Strong expertise in CNC laser cutting, punching, bending, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly line operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and high-volume production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proactive in resolving production challenges
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multi-department coordination
• Tech-savvy with exposure to ERP or production planning systems

Salary: Commensurate with Experience
