Plant Head

As a Plant Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of our manufacturing plant. Your role will encompass various aspects from production and manufacturing to ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. To excel in this position, you must possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes along with a strong knowledge of safety guidelines and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include managing all plant operations such as production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. You will be tasked with developing and implementing plans to utilize materials, labor, and equipment efficiently to achieve production targets. Ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations will be paramount, as well as leading and mentoring a team of managers, supervisors, and production staff. Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective quality control and timely delivery of products. Collaboration with other departments to align plant activities with company objectives and reporting directly to senior management on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior manufacturing role, including at least 5 years in a leadership position, is required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes, and best practices, along with proven experience in managing budgets and optimizing costs, is essential. Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with industry regulations, and quality standards are also necessary. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are key attributes for success in this role. This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits, a day shift schedule, and a yearly bonus.
