Head-PPC

1. Production Planning:

• Develop and implement master production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capacities.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand order priorities and delivery timelines.
• Plan daily/weekly/monthly production targets and issue production plans to shop floor.

2. Material Planning:

• Collaborate with the Purchase and Stores departments to ensure material availability as per production plan.
• Monitor material shortages and take corrective actions to avoid line stoppages.
• Optimize raw material and inventory levels to reduce carrying costs.

3. Capacity Planning:

• Analyze machine and manpower capacities to match production targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements or capacity enhancements.

4. Monitoring and Control:

• Monitor actual production against planned schedules and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure timely communication of changes in plans to relevant departments.
• Use systems for tracking and controlling production flow.

5. Coordination and Communication:

• Act as a bridge between production, quality, maintenance, purchase, and dispatch departments.
• Conduct regular review meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure alignment.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate reports on production efficiency, plan adherence, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and inventory.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
• Present performance metrics and suggestions to senior management.

7. Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the PPC team.
• Define KPIs for team members and ensure accountability.
• Conduct training to enhance team capability and process understanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
