Job Title: Plant Head / GM Operations

Location: Haryana

Department: Manufacturing / Operations

Reporting To: Managing Director / COO

Experience: 19–30 years in manufacturing operations (automotive / rubber / polymer / plastic)

Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering; MBA (Operations / Manufacturing) preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Tooling, Plastic & Rubber divisions.

Drive business operations, including EBITDA, cost optimization, budgeting, sales, and customer satisfaction.

Lead strategic new product development, process improvement (Lean, TPS, Kaizen), and automation projects.

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.

Mentor, manage, and monitor plant managers, department heads, and workforce (~700+ employees).

Oversee ERP/SAP implementation, production planning, and KPI monitoring for operational excellence.

Build high-performance culture, including training programs, team development, and motivation.

Identify revenue generation opportunities, cost reduction projects, and process optimization strategies.

Ensure smooth coordination with R&D, sales, supply chain, and customer teams.

Key Skills / Competencies:

Leadership & people management for large manufacturing units.

Operations management in automotive rubber/plastic manufacturing.

Budgeting, cost control, and business profitability.

Knowledge of extrusion, molding (compression, transfer, injection), rubber-to-metal bonding, and plastic technologies.

Lean Manufacturing, TPS, Kaizen, 5S, Poka Yoke implementation.

Customer handling & relationship management for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

ERP/SAP & Industry 4.0 exposure.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management expertise.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Current / Ex-Plant Head, GM Operations, or VP Operations in automotive or rubber/plastic manufacturing.

Experience handling 700+ employees, multi-shift operations, and 100–500 Cr turnover plant.

Proven track record of EBITDA improvement, sales ramp-up, and productivity enhancement.

Experience in new plant setups, turnaround projects, or process optimization.

Open to Pan India or international postings.
