Purpose: 1. Execute NP projects ontime by involving relevant functions 2. Achieve target QCD parameters of the project Role & responsibilities 1.1 Understand complete project requirements from customer / marketing / NPD head 1.2 Prepare project plan (including equipment plan, process plan of both downstream and upstream, resource plan and ramp up plan) by involving relevant functions 1.3 Review past project learnings and incorporate appropriate points 1.4 Allocate responsibilities for the execution of the project 1.5 Execute NPD process (APQP process) in line with the project plan 1.6 Conduct design reviews and project progress reviews 1.7 Handle exceptions / deviations through problem solving process, in consultation with NPD head 1.8 Interface with customers on project progress 1.9 Document current project inline with TS guidelines 2.1 Evaluate the feasibility of meeting the QCD targets of the project 2.2 Plan and deploy QCD targets for various steps of the NPD process 2.3 Review adherence to targets 2.4 Achieve customer approval for the developed part
Role & responsibilities: 1.1 Establish the process of converting customer requirements into design specifications 1.2 Establish guidelines for die design and die development 1.3 Plan for die design, development and sample approval along with NPD program managers 1.4 Monitor progress as per plan / adherence to standards and targets 1.5 Conduct stage gate reviews to ensure adherence to customer requirements and standards 1.6 Establish process for proving the dies 1.7 Monitor product quality and process scrap / ease of operation and guide on corrective actions 1.8 Ensure ramp up quality of dies and improve die life 1.9 Establish guidelines for maintaining the dies in brand new condition along with Die maintenance expert 1.10 Review existing die designs and identify opportunities for VA / VE 2.1 Develop training content for die design, die development and die proving and die maintenance

Work as reliever to team member when required 8. Monitor efficiency of team member 9. Update data at regular intervals 10. Train workmen as per skill requirements 11.
