Placement Officer (Expericence Persons Only Apply)

Location: - Khamgaon - Maharashtra

This role is responsible to generate local job leads across job sectors / batches locations, counselling & placing candidates with various placement activities throughout training cycle of Head Held High programs. The role will work closely with local cluster head & placement lead.

Job Description: Placement Officer

Experience: 3-4 years (minimum)

Key Responsibilities: • Drive placement initiatives for candidates in both IT and Non-IT sectors across the West Zone.

IT sectors include Data Analytics, AI, Cloud Computing, STEM, UX/UI Designing, IoT, and others.

Non-IT sectors include Retail, Hospitality, BFSI, Manufacturing, and various other job sectors.

Collaborate with companies / corporates and socially responsible hiring to align opportunities for candidates.

Prepare candidates for placements through career guidance, training, and interview preparation.

Build and nurture strong partnerships with corporate entities, industry professionals, and recruitment agencies.

Ensure successful placement outcomes by providing continuous support to candidates.

Requirements: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in placement or recruitment roles, with a background in social sector placements being highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of IT and Non-IT sectors, with an ability to match candidates to the right opportunities.

Excellent networking skills and experience working with CSR-driven hiring initiatives Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to travel within the West Zone as & when needed

• Employer Engagement:
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers across industries.
• Identify job opportunities relevant to the skillsets of the candidates.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with employers to understand hiring needs and trends.
• Candidate Support:
• Guide candidates in resume building, interview preparation, and professional grooming.
• Organize job-readiness workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling sessions.
• Track candidates' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Placement Coordination:
• Match candidates’ skills with suitable job opportunities.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate with employers and candidates.
• Ensure timely communication of interview outcomes and manage onboarding processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work with training teams to align candidate skills with market requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure holistic candidate development.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or a related field.
• Strong network of employer contacts across industries eg- Hospitality, Retail, ITeS, Manufacturing etc...
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹3,00,000.00 - ₹3,36,000.00 per year

• Placement Manager: 3 years (Preferred) with good leads in the sector like
• Hospitality, Retail, QSR, Resort Management etc...
