Job Description

IIMT Group of colleges is looking for PLACEMENT COORDINATOR to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

As a Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating job placements and internships for our students or program participants
Your role involves establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers, understanding the needs of both candidates and companies, and ensuring successful placements that align with career goals and program objectives
Key Responsibilities:Employer Engagement:Identify and establish relationships with local and regional employers, including businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies
Promote the benefits of hiring program participants and graduates
Candidate Assessment:Assess the skills, qualifications, and career goals of candidates or students seeking placements
Conduct interviews, review resumes, and evaluate work readiness
Job Matching:Match candidates with suitable job opportunities, internships, or apprenticeships based on their skills, interests, and career goals
Consider employer requirements and industry demands
Placement Coordination:Coordinate all aspects of the placement process, including interviews, offers, and onboarding
Ensure a smooth transition for both candidates and employers
Program Support:Collaborate with program instructors, advisors, and career counselors to align placements with academic or training programs
Provide guidance and support to candidates in preparing for interviews and starting new positions
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of candidate profiles, job placements, and employer interactions
Generate reports and data analysis to track placement outcomes and program effectiveness
Feedback and Evaluation:Solicit feedback from employers and program participants to continuously improve placement processes
Identify opportunities for program enhancements based on feedback and industry trends
Compliance and Compliance:Ensure placements comply with relevant laws, regulations, and program requirements
Stay informed about labor market trends and industry-specific employment regulations
