Key Responsibilities

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on the portal plus premium service platforms.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the UX/UI team.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing the existing data services API.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Follow industry best practices and stay current with developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Support in optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.
  

The Person

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony).
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Competent in web services (REST/SOAP) and third-party integrations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues independently.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub for version control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
