Regional SCM Lead - South About The Team And Role The Regional Supply Chain Lead -South Zone will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities across multiple locations (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) within a designated zone. This role requires strategic planning, effective resource management, and process optimization to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and the achievement of business objectives. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across the assigned zone, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Manage and lead a team of operations managers, supervisors, and frontline staff. Implement operational strategies to improve productivity and service quality. Performance Management Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational processes. Resource Management Manage resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and budgets. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet operational goals. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration Coordinate with cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, HR, etc support Operational Goals Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting & Analysis Prepare regular reports on operational performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities. Analyse data to make informed decisions and drive improvements. Work Conditions Should be flexible to travel within cities of the specified zone and other locations if there is requirement Must Haves Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably in Ecommerce Health Sector or established players like AMZ or FK (Warehouse Operations) Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and operational management tools/software.
