Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter, scripting, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing, system monitoring, and debugging complex distributed systems in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing using Apache JMeter.
Create and maintain test scripts and frameworks to simulate real-world traffic and stress conditions.
Work with Kubernetes-based infrastructure to deploy and manage scalable test environments.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
Use monitoring tools (e. g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch to track system performance and health.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
Document test scenarios, results, and recommendations.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy, or similar).
Experience working with Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments (Docker).
Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Cloud-native tools.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
Familiar with HTTP, REST APIs, and common backend performance issues.
