Performance Tester

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester to assess the responsiveness, stability, scalability, and reliability of software applications under various workloads.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in performance testing tools and methodologies, with the ability to design and execute performance tests and analyze system behavior

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and non-functional specifications to design performance test plans.
• Create, configure, and execute performance, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
• Monitor system performance during tests using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Splunk.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and recommend tuning or optimization.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to plan and coordinate performance testing efforts.
• Analyze test results and produce performance test summary reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure performance testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, concurrency).
• Proficient in tools such as:
• Apache JMeter
• HP LoadRunner / Micro Focus LoadRunner
• NeoLoad
• Gatling
• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience to write and understand scripts using Java, Python, Groovy, or C (depending on tools used).
• Experience of HTTP protocols, REST/SOAP APIs, database performance, and web technologies.
• Experience in analyzing server logs, system metrics, and database queries.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information System or a related field.
