We are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in JMeter scripting, load testing, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain JMeter performance test scripts based on business requirements and user scenarios.
Conduct various types of performance testing: Load, Stress, Soak, and Spike tests.
Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to replicate and troubleshoot performance issues.
Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Work with monitoring tools like Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, etc., to collect performance metrics.
Contribute to the performance testing strategy and test planning.

Required Skills

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Experience in scripting complex performance test cases using JMeter functions, correlation, and parameterization.
Proficiency in analyzing server-side logs and system metrics to identify performance issues.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps processes.
Working knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web protocols.
Familiarity with Performance Monitoring Tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of additional performance tools like LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.
Experience in database performance testing and basic SQL.
ISTQB or other testing certifications.
