Very Much Indian is a brand rooted in the heritage of Paithani sarees, which are handwoven by skilled artisans in Yeola, Maharashtra. Established by Slony, who comes from a textile business family, the brand focuses on bringing traditional sarees back to life for new generations. With a community of over 3000 weavers across 8 states in India, Very Much Indian specializes in high-quality, handloom-made Paithani sarees crafted from pure silk and cotton. Our mission is to revive the art of handloom and celebrate the intricate craftsmanship of these timeless pieces.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Performance Marketer, located in Pune. The Performance Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales, managing online campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns for better results. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective marketing messages. The ideal candidate will also handle budget management, paid media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute paid marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and others
  • Optimize campaigns for ROAS, CPL, CAC, and other key performance metrics
  • Conduct regular A/B testing of creatives, copy, landing pages, and audience segments
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Shopify
  • Collaborate with content, design, and e-commerce teams to align performance marketing with brand and product goals
  • Identify new growth opportunities, performance levers, and untapped audiences
  • Manage budgets effectively and allocate spending across platforms for maximum ROI
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices


Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in e-commerce or D2C brands (Fashion will be an advantage)
  • Proven experience managing performance campaigns with significant monthly budgets
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, and other paid platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel
  • Working knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Ability to think creatively and experiment while being grounded in numbers and ROI
