As we gear up for launch, we’re assembling a lean, driven team of go-getters who thrive on ownership, speed, and creativity. We’re now looking to hire a sharp, imaginative Video Editor to join our founding creative team. You’ll be instrumental in shaping how the brand moves, feels, and connects—across reels, product films, paid ad creatives, and more. Key Responsibilities Edit high-quality, engaging video content for digital platforms—Instagram Reels, YouTube, paid media, and website. Work closely with the brand, marketing, and design teams to bring campaigns, product stories, and content pillars to life. Own the end-to-end post-production process: rough cuts, transitions, color grading, sound, and final exports. Repurpose footage into platform-specific assets for Meta, YouTube Shorts, Google Ads, etc. Add dynamic elements like motion graphics, supers, and lightweight animation where relevant. Assist in video shoot planning and on-ground direction (as needed). Keep up with evolving video trends in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle—and proactively bring fresh ideas to the table. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Film Studies, Media Arts, Visual Communication , or a related field. A bachelor’s degree from a reputed design school (e.g., NID, NIFT, Srishti, MIT ID, SID, Pearl, etc.) is a plus! 1–3 years of experience editing short-form and long-form content—preferably in a D2C, beauty, fashion, or content-led startup. Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing range, storytelling, and pacing. Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Proficiency working on motion graphics tools (After Effects, CapCut, Canva animation, etc.). Familiarity with AI tools (Runway, Adobe Firefly, Pika Labs, etc.) for video ideation and experimentation. Strong color grading and sound mixing skills. Ability to work fast without compromising on quality—this role will see high creative output. Comfort with tight turnarounds, collaborative reviews, and multi-format output. Bonus Skills (Good to Have) Photography or camera operation experience.
