Job Description

Ideagen is seeking a dynamic and experienced People Services Team Leader to lead and enhance our people services function. This role is pivotal in delivering a high-quality, consistent, and efficient HR service to colleagues and managers across the organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, process improvement, and delivering exceptional colleague experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Services team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services via the ticket desk including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and HR systems support.
  • Liaise effectively with other People functions (e.g., People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits) to ensure integrated HR service delivery.
  • Provide insight to the wider team through monthly reporting of data from the global ticketing system
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all People Services activities
  • Leverage HR technology to improve service delivery and data management
  • Champion a positive colleague experience by ensuring services are delivered with clarity and consistency.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with current employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Oversee the management of the HRIS - Workday.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Services professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct and/or support in internal and external HR audits globally, ensuring data readiness and compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data privacy protocols are strictly adhered to.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., IT, Finance, Legal) to resolve cross-functional issues related to HR operations.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex employee queries or HR operational issues.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar HR operations or shared services role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
