Job Description

    As the leader of a GBO People Services team, youre responsible to lead one of the GBO People Services teams (People Operations Support), which is responsible for manage and support the HR/Payroll process and systems as per defined and agreed scope, execute delivery of services on high professional standard and strive to meet or exceed agreed service levels.
    lead the PC Operations Support activities and deliverables to enable the operations to focus on an end user support and delivering efficient services manage delivery of the global business support activities in close collaboration with Digital People Domain and People Services team, steer team performance and deliverables in line with the GBO People Services goals, work with GBO Operational SMEs and CI Function on the Continuous Improvement agenda (process and tools improvement) to drive the service efficiency support solving problems and independently resolve first level escalations follow-up on the status of outstanding issues recruit competent new co-workers that will fit to the team take an active role in coaching and developing PC staff knowledge, skills and competence be responsible for coordination of trainings, keeping high level of motivation and other activities related with team leading be a part of a work environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality active participation coordination in relevant project deliverables foster strong relationships with partners. allocate team resources effectively. recruit, coach, and develop team members. motivate the team to deliver outstanding service. This role is situated within Bangalore and will report directly to the GBO People Operations Support Manager.
