People Partner

As a People Business Partner (PBP) at our company, your role will involve strategic partnering with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for creating collaborative and consultative relationships with senior leaders. Your key responsibilities will include: - Consulting and coaching senior leaders - Enabling business change - Advocating for people solutions - Partnering with the business, talent management, and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives such as workforce planning, hi-potential talent development, and succession planning In this professional stream, your focus will be on applying technical or discipline knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results. However, you may also be involved in coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, informal supervisory responsibilities, or overseeing the work of other lower-level professionals. Your individual work may range from setting objectives and delivering on your own responsibilities to becoming a leading expert within your field and influencing long-term tactical decisions of the organization. Your progression within this stream will depend on increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others. You are expected to have in-depth knowledge and experience in your functional area, and to routinely apply your subject matter expertise to solve common business issues within established practices and procedures. You will handle most situations independently, seeking minimal guidance but reaching out for advice, guidance, and support on more complex or non-routine topics. As a leader at this level, you will be accountable for the performance and results of teams comprising less experienced professionals, frontline workers, and admins. You will need to adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges effectively.
