Key Responsibilities: 1. Payroll Processing: o Manage end-to-end payroll processing for outsourced employees in India. o Verify and reconcile payroll data including working hours, salary, allowances, bonuses, and deductions. o Ensure timely disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and any other compensations. 2. Compliance: o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (TDS). o Submit payroll-related statutory reports and filings in a timely manner. o Keep up to date with changes in Indian labor laws and taxation regulations affecting payroll processing. 3. Employee Benefits & Deductions: o Calculate and process deductions like Provident Fund, ESI, PT, Gratuity, and Income Tax. o Handle payroll benefits such as leave encashment, gratuity payments, medical reimbursements, etc. o Ensure that appropriate deductions are made for outsourced employees based on company policy and legal requirements. 4. Reporting & Record Maintenance: o Maintain payroll records including payslips, tax statements, and other employee records. o Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management and compliance audits. o Handle payroll queries from employees and provide resolution in a timely manner. 5. Coordination & Support: o Liaise with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors (outsourcing clients) to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll data. o Assist with internal and external payroll audits. o Collaborate with the Finance department for the disbursement of salaries and taxes. 6. Payroll Software: o Utilize payroll management software to process payroll and maintain records. o Assist in the implementation of new payroll systems or software as required. o Ensure the payroll software is updated with current statutory regulations. 7. Statutory Filings: o Handle monthly and annual statutory filings such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS returns. o Submit Form 16, challans, and other tax-related documents to government authorities as required.
