Payroll Specialist

As an Employee Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring compliance with global employment regulations, and enhancing employee satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and updating employee records, such as department, designation, and compensation changes. - Ensuring timely tax filings and compliance with statutory regulations across various regions, including IRS filings in the US, HMRC in the UK, ATO in Australia, and EPFO/ESI/PT in India. - Preparing and filing statutory reports like PF, ESI, LWF, PT, TDS, and Statutory Bonus in India, and their equivalents in other regions. - Assisting in gratuity, earned leave, and other benefit valuations, and providing necessary data for actuarial reports. - Supporting audits and furnishing documentation for internal and external compliance reviews. - Clarifying employee queries related to salary structure, tax treatment, and statutory deductions across different geographies. In terms of qualifications, you should possess: - A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Excel and the MS Office Suite. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - The ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under tight deadlines, particularly during month-end and year-end periods. - Willingness to work flexible hours to coordinate activities across global time zones.
