The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 2+ years of overall experience, with at least 1+ years specifically in B2B/SaaS platforms. It is essential that you demonstrate competence in this area rather than just focusing on the number of years of experience. The location for this position is Trivandrum. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate effectively within a team, contributing positively to team projects. Your responsibilities will include participating in code development to ensure it is clean, efficient, and well-documented. You will work closely with product teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance user experience. Additionally, you will assist in identifying engineering solutions to improve system design and functionality, with a particular focus on usability and scalability of the end products. Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment is crucial, and you will be working under the guidance of senior team members. Core skills required for this role include 1 to 2 years of experience with NodeJS, preferably within a microservices architecture. You should have a basic understanding of code and database optimization techniques, as well as the ability to think beyond technical tasks to comprehend the impact of engineering decisions on the overall product and user experience. A strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, algorithms, and data structures is essential. Moreover, you should possess a solid understanding of MySQL and/or MongoDB, along with strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
