Job Opening: Payroll Manager / Assistant Manager Payroll & Compliance (Male Candidate Only)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee

    end-to-end payroll management

    for all business locations.
  • Prepare

    Manpower MIS Reports

    for monthly salary approval.
  • Create and maintain

    Billing MIS

    in coordination with the Billing Team.
  • Conduct

    zone-wise and department-wise reconciliation

    for payroll accuracy.
  • Obtain

    salary approval

    from MD and submit data to Accounts for disbursement.
  • Ensure

    timely PF & ESIC payments

    in coordination with the Accounts team.
  • Coordinate with the

    Credit Control Team

    for payment status of manpower invoices.
  • Prepare and present

    manpower review presentations

    for JMD.
  • Verify and share

    billing attendance

    with the Billing Department.
  • Check and validate

    payroll inputs

    including increments, promotions, deductions, and variable pay.
  • Supervise and review

    payroll processing in HRMS

    , ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Compare

    pay registers

    with previous months for audit and variance checks.
  • Verify

    PF/ESIC workings

    and ensure timely upload and payment.
  • Maintain

    statutory compliance documentation

    for client audits and portals.
  • Process and validate

    Full & Final settlements

    , obtain approvals, and coordinate with Accounts for release.
  • Review and approve

    salary masters of new joiners

    in consultation with the HR Head.
  • Oversee

    attendance management

    across all sites and ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze

    Attendance Vigilance Reports

    by the 16th of every month.
  • Manage

    DA revisions

    and prepare proposals for client approval.
  • Lead and guide the

    payroll and compliance team

    , ensuring smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with

    location HR / site coordinators

    to resolve attendance, payroll, or compliance queries promptly.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    8–12 years in Payroll, Compliance, MIS, and Statutory management.
  • Education:

    Graduate / MBA (preferred).
  • Proven experience in

    team handling

    and

    multi-location payroll operations

    .
  • Proficient in

    HRMS, PF, ESIC, Payroll software, and MS Excel

    .
  • Strong skills in

    time management, accuracy, interdepartmental coordination, and communication

    .
  • Knowledge of

    labour laws, statutory norms, and client compliance requirements

    .
