Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as

    PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and Labour Laws

    .
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and government authorities.
  • Handle reimbursements, incentives, and full-and-final settlements.
  • Coordinate with HR for attendance, leave management, and employee master data updates.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and assist in payroll reconciliation with Finance.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and payroll regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
