Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Job Location: Hyderabad

• Process payroll using ZOHO Payroll software with precision and timeliness
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, including the Telangana Shops and Establishment Act
• Familiar with updates on latest statutory compliance rules in accordance with PF, ESI and Gratuity payments and employee issues resolutions
• Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations
• Support payroll-related audits and ensure adherence to statutory requirements
• Apply strategic thinking and sound judgment in resolving complex payroll issues
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences across all levels
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data including compensation and benefits
• Demonstrate a strong employee service mindset and build productive relationships across teams
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with ZOHO Payroll
• In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and compliance requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.)
• Preferred: Experience using Workday for payroll and HRIS functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
